A Love For Art, Where It All Started…

My love for art has been nurtured by the beauty surrounding me in The Hudson River Valley. I have also had the great pleasure of painting in various beautiful places around the country and the globe. I have painted in England, Scotland, Ireland, Italy and Japan.

I was honored to be chosen as an artist in residence at Shankill Castle in Kilkenny Ireland in April 2018 and was able to complete many paintings of the beautiful Irish landscape.

I also participated in the following art workshops :

Celia has truly mastered the evocative magic of calm and tranquility in her art. This is the second landscape we’ve purchased and is our daily ‘mood enhancer.’ Her works uplift our enjoyment and sense of wonder in nature. Thank you, Celia, for your gift to us all...we’ll be back for more!

Celia Teichman is an artist and friend whose work my wife and I have admired for many years.  We are fortunate to have over ten of her paintings adorning the walls in both our winter and summer residences.  Her vistas and landscapes are evocative and beautiful, and our latest purchase of Celia’s work – Sunset on the Hudson – is my personal favorite.

Celia has been a friend for well over 30 years, and we’ve witnessed her constant desire to stretch and refine her incredible talent.  She continues to impress us with her paintings, and we will continue to find a place in our homes for them.

Lake Champliain Sunset 16 X 20 Oil

This is a painting from a picture I took of Butler's Island in Lake Champlain, from my mother's house on the Maquam shore of St. Albans Bay, VT. It was done my talented friend Celia Teichman and is now home on our wall in Hudson, FL. Celia did a magnificent job of capturing the tranquility of the sunset and providing us with a sense of peace when we sit and look at it.

Celia Teichman has a passion for art and she puts that passion into action, which she has for many years now. I have purchased several paintings in different mediums including pastels, graphite, prismacolour pencils, acrylic and oil, No matter what the medium she takes on, she studies, practices and perfects her technique.

I commissioned her to paint special photos of mine including landscapes, as well as my children, Celia turned them into beautiful artwork that I is now hanging throughout my home in Florida.
